Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

I meant to do this last week when I set up and decorated my little tree but work happened and than a head could so now I'll write about it a week later. :D

This is how it all started...

   

Lights. A little tree. and more lights! 

For what ever reason I was feeling a little down that day. So taking pictures of my twinkling little tree made me feel better. 

 

 

Even Boris liked it.

 

All the presents wrapped put the cherry on top. 

But then I saw my brother and sister in laws tree.

It was stachetastic. 

Complete with a rocking stache on top. 

I love Christmas time!! 

A couch. A camera. A family.

Yesterday our brother called us and told us to come over. 

"Dress nice," he said. 

Nice meaning black top and jeans.

So, we headed on over. 

We walk up and find this...

... it's a couch. In the front yard. Odd. Right. I get it. 

But that remarkably orange and yellow couch turned our afternoon into something pretty awesome!

Do you know how hard it is for four kids to sit down, still for more than 20 minutes!? This is one of the better candid shots. I'm sure the photographer actually caught them all looking at the camera at one point. 

So, here's the story:

These two. Got together and made four pretty awesome kiddos.

There were a ton of props.
Luggage, blankets, a chair, a couch.
Kids got a little restless so then these shots happened.

There were a ton more awesome moments.
Trust me.
But these were some of the better ones.

The whole clan. Pups and all.


They pretty much are the best family.
The kids are a handful so are the dogs.
But this is my family. 

And I wouldn't have it any other way! 

AHHH...

There is so much to share! Actually, there's not much to share. Remember, I live a semi-boring life. 

However, I did get a new camera. Here, check it out! 

It's not a picture of the camera, but look at that adorable face! How do you resist!?

These are our awesome tea lights! 

And then finally, after all my playing around with my new camera I came across this. 

I don't know what kind of spider it is and I don't care to know.

All I know is this sucker was gigantic! 

But look at that picture quality! 

Green...

... is the new me apparently.

I mean my new blog back round color is green.

I've been getting gutsy with trying to wear green eye shadow. 

(It's harder than you'd think. I can't pull it off very well.)

And I just bought an awesome reversible green-grey leaf comforter! 

So, bottom line is, I haven't blogged in I don't know how long.

March, I think was my last post?

A.) I'm not accustomed to blogging every or every other day, so it's foreign.

B.) I live a fairly boring life. I can admit that. I'm just not good at documenting the events that do happen.

C.) I'm going to try to be better. It's as simple as that. 

So, for starters.

let's start this post off with this bad boy, shall we?

So, as we can see this is a picture of four different alcoholic beverages with four different names typed out on tape. Correct? Correct. 

I may have been browsing through the free app section one day and came across this wonderful labeling app. 

GENIUS! 

'Cause now, I LABEL EVERYTHING!! 

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? 

Now my pictures literally have words. 

GENIUS! 

So, the back round story with this photo. 

On the 16th of March these four names taught a class that brought on more anxiety and stress than needed. Well worth it. But stressful! 

These four drinks were our celebratory drinks. And by our I mean the other three 'cause they did most of the research and endured most of the added stress. 

The only reasonable outcome was to just pick up the tab. I figured it was the least I could do for all their hard work... anyway...

back to the labeler app.

This was my morning beverage today...

Do you see what it says? 

DIDN'T STAND A CHANCE! 

Boy that tri-colored label says it all! (HAHA!)

This drink was supposed to last my whole 10 minute break this morning. 

You know, pace myself. 

Enjoy the sweet fully (extra) caffeinated beverage.

In all honesty, I think this drink only lasted about a minute! 

It was delicious and DIDNT STAND A CHANCE!!

1.) Label App. CHECK.

2.) Not enjoying my delicious beverage this morning. In a timely fashion. CHECK!

3.) CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL. CHECK X20!!!

 While browsing iTunes and buying songs I don't need, I remembered a conversation I had with Emma. 

The conversation went as such.

Emma driving. 

Me: Is this CCR?!

Em: yeah.

Me: Ah! I need to own more of their stuff! 

It's that glorious. 

So as I said. In my browsing, I looked up CCR and low and behold 

iTunes in all it's  gloriousness has a 20 top hits for $6.99

UMM, YES PLEASE! 

Really, the mistake of this story was my purchase. 

let's just say i'm not excited for the bill for tonight's purchase.

But as I am typing this epic blog (it was long overdue)

I am currently listening to the always amazing 

CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL! 

And now, my heart is happy!
